Sr. Systems Engineer (Networking): Providing technology consulting and technical sales support for cloud-driven networking solutions with an accent on pre-sales engineering and solution design. Focus on leading Proof of Concept activities, designing complex network architectures, and supporting RFI/RFP responses.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Germany)

Salary: 120,000–130,000 EUR OTE

What you will do

• Provide technology consulting and technical sales support for various account opportunities.
• Deliver high-level technical presentations to customers, prospects, and channel partners.
• Organize and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities and design solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams.
• Develop and maintain a network of trusted relationships with customers and partners.

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Proven pre-sales engineering track record in the networking industry.
• Sound knowledge of L2/L3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, Overlay networking, VPNs, Wi-Fi design, and network security.
• Experience working with major accounts and closing deals.
• Practical hands-on lab experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud technologies, Cloud-based network management, and SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of compute and network virtualization principles.
• Proficiency in automation scripting and APIs.
