What you will do

• Lead the creative direction and design strategy for the Topshop Tailoring category.
• Research catwalks, street style, cultural movements, social media, competitors, and market trends to identify product opportunities.
• Design commercially relevant tailoring ranges across tailored separates and modern wardrobe essentials.
• Create design packs, CADs, and technical briefs, and develop fabrics, trims, and finishes with suppliers and Product Development.
• Own fit, proportion, and silhouette direction through fittings with Technical teams.
• Review trade performance and customer feedback, present seasonal concepts to senior stakeholders, and deliver products on time, within cost, and to quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a tailoring design role, ideally within a fast-paced fashion retailer or contemporary fashion brand.
• Deep understanding of tailoring construction, fit principles, fabrications, and garment finishing techniques.
• Ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into commercially successful products.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD development.
• Strong presentation, communication, organisation, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• A design portfolio demonstrating tailoring expertise, trend-led thinking, and a clear creative point of view.
