Principal Product Designer (Travel): Shaping the post-booking experience for a leading online holiday platform with an accent on customer retention, self-service journeys, and end-to-end product vision. Location: Hybrid in Manchester, United Kingdom, with office attendance at the Aeroworks office one day every two weeks. Core working hours are 10amβ4pm.

What you will do
- Own the post-booking customer experience and identify opportunities that improve retention and repeat bookings.
- Partner with product, engineering, research, marketing, and customer operations leaders on product vision, priorities, and customer and business value.
- Use data, customer insight, market understanding, and unit economics to guide product decisions.
- Maintain an end-to-end view of the experience and identify opportunities for significant improvements.
- Align teams and departments, coach designers, and influence without formal authority.
- Move quickly from ideas to tested prototypes and raise the quality of the design system.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a senior designer working on customer-facing products.
- Experience shaping product direction, owning outcomes, and being accountable for results.
- Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional groups and influence without authority.
- Strong understanding of commercial and customer considerations, with a data- and testing-driven approach.
- Comfort working with pace, ambiguity, and modern design tools.
- A portfolio demonstrating design thinking, decisions, and learnings, not only final designs.
