What you will do

• Develop a cohesive, commercially viable product range aligned with the brand and divisional strategy.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Marketing to shape product direction and identify promotional opportunities.
• Manage department KPIs to drive margin and profit while implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze global trends and competitor activity to identify gaps and potential opportunities in the range.
• Build and leverage strong relationships with a network of internal teams and external global suppliers.
• Lead and develop a team of Assistant Buyers and Buyer Assistants, focusing on talent growth and recognition.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer within a fast-paced global retailer.
• Proven ability to drive departmental success through creative and commercial thinking.
• Strong awareness of current fashion trends, retail market conditions, and competitor activity on a global scale.
• Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills to gain buy-in from management.
• Proficiency in analyzing planning and trading documents to inform decision-making.
• Experience in an inclusive leadership style, providing clear direction and development to a team.
