Buyer (Fragrance Retail)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Permanent role with a flexible working scheme including 15 work-from-home days per year; regular office presence is expected.

What you will do

• Monitor competitor product offerings and pricing, and respond where necessary.
• Act as the primary contact for suppliers’ sales teams.
• Build product ranges for promotional events and identify new products to drive incremental sales.
• Set core and promotional retail pricing, maximize product margins, and forecast stock requirements for new and promotional lines.
• Oversee ordering of stock, testers, and promotional items.
• Provide supplier sales and stock data, prepare ad-hoc reports, and analyze SKU performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Buyer is essential.
• Experience in FMCG range management.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Numerate and analytical approach with solid business acumen.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to embrace change and work effectively as a genuine team player at all levels.
