What you will do
- Interpret data and apply advanced queries and statistical methods to uncover actionable insights.
- Build reusable data querying, transformation, visualization, reporting, and dashboard processes using Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, and other big data tools.
- Identify reporting needs, monitor business-process data, detect trends and events, and escalate important findings.
- Present complex information clearly to support fact-based decisions across the organization.
- Define data-driven business process improvements and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Mentor junior BI team members and maintain thorough documentation for reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Expert-level SQL skills and the ability to write advanced database queries.
- Ability to analyze datasets containing millions of rows, perform deep-dive data mining, and create complex visualizations in live dashboard environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead complex data analysis projects, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Python, R, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Jupyter, Hive, and BigQuery ML.
