Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per annum base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build full-stack product solutions for frontier model creators and enterprise AI application developers.
• Work directly with customers, account managers, and customer success specialists to understand problems and identify product opportunities.
• Translate business concepts and customer needs into software models and production-ready implementations.
• Work across shared codebases, monoliths, distributed systems, and multiple hirify.global domains.
• Support production systems, monitor reliability, and respond to incidents when required.
• Collaborate with US customers and teams, as well as UK-based technology teams.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in product engineering.
• Experience with modern web applications, architecture design patterns, and production support.
• Familiarity with both monolithic and distributed systems.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to learn quickly, work with autonomy, and balance rapid iteration with scalable, reliable engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for direct customer interaction; the role requires regular attendance at the New York office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, FastAPI, Vue, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Celery, EventBridge, or Datadog.
