Global Commodity Manager, IC

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Manage IC commodities covering Analog Power, Signal Chain, Discrete, and Timing Devices across the full component lifecycle.
• Own supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, preferred supplier lists, and operational activities.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, terms and conditions, minimum order quantities, lead times, contracts, long-term agreements, and vendor-managed inventory arrangements.
• Drive cost reductions, supply-chain flexibility, supplier performance, quality, delivery, and continuity of supply.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, NPI, Planning, manufacturing partners, and suppliers on component selection, roadmaps, qualifications, and product support.
• Escalate supplier issues and influence design decisions using technical, commercial, and risk considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant operations or account-management experience with EMS, contract manufacturers, ODMs, or OEMs.
• Experience with key suppliers in the Analog Power, Signal Chain, Discrete, or Timing Devices market.
• Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving skills for complex technical and commercial challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve daily work, analysis, or output quality.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Familiarity with IC cost-benchmarking platforms.
