Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

Salary: $70-100/hour

What you will do

• Own the full design lifecycle from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Implement a hybrid Figma and Claude workflow to generate production-ready UX/UI and HTML prototypes.
• Design complex multi-role workflows for municipal government staff and public applicants.
• Lead user research, including interviews and usability testing, utilizing AI-assisted tools for synthesis.
• Extend and maintain a shared design system to ensure consistency across the product surface.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to move features from concept to shipment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of UX and visual execution.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Experience using LLMs (specifically Claude) as a design partner in an AI-native workflow.
• Proficiency in Figma, including the use of component libraries and prototyping.
• Ability to drive work forward in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise or government-facing SaaS products.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and inclusive design.
• Knowledge of agentic development frameworks.
