Senior Manager, Risk Intelligence and AI Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead intelligence-led technology risk assessments and thematic reviews across high-risk and complex environments.
• Monitor internal and external risk signals, industry developments, and regulatory trends to identify emerging technology risks.
• Provide deep risk insights and practical recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Assess technology architectures and control environments for cloud, AI, critical applications, and third parties.
• Support the development and enhancement of the bank's AI risk governance and management capabilities.
• Partner with Technology and Risk stakeholders to strengthen governance and control effectiveness.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
• Approximately 7+ years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Information Security, or Operational Risk.
• Strong understanding of technology risk management, governance frameworks, and banking technology environments.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies including cloud computing, APIs, microservices, DevOps, and AI.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and thematic reviews within complex technology environments.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar risk, audit, or security qualifications.
