Technology Audit Manager (Crypto/Fintech)

Location

Location: Remote from Canada or Brazil

What you will do

• Plan and execute technology audits covering cybersecurity, cloud, identity and access management, SDLC, change management, and operational resilience
• Assess security of core systems including access controls, data protection, monitoring, and compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Evaluate AI governance, security, and privacy across AI and machine-learning systems
• Test IT general and application controls against ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, or COBIT frameworks
• Lead multiple audit engagements, manage teams, and coordinate with co-sourced specialists
• Communicate audit findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in IT audit, information security, or related technology risk functions
• Strong knowledge of control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, COBIT) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and AI governance
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, or equivalent
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, digital asset custody, or crypto-native technologies
• Technical fluency with enterprise technology and ability to translate findings for diverse audiences

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern deployment practices
• Exposure to operational resilience and ISO 27001 certification environments
