What you will do

• Lead the delivery of tax business partnering, advisory, compliance, reporting, and risk management across the Public Markets business.
• Act as the primary tax contact and escalation point for stakeholders, providing pragmatic advice on complex tax matters.
• Manage and develop a team of tax specialists to support business priorities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations teams, as well as external advisers and tax authorities.
• Oversee tax governance, controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Lead the Group's Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) capability and compliance processes.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified in Tax (CIOT) and/or Accountancy, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience leading tax strategy and compliance within asset management, investment management, or financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regimes (Corporation tax, Income tax, VAT, and stamp taxes) and international tax considerations.
• Proven ability to influence senior business leaders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing specialist teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London, Hove, or Cardiff offices.
