What you will do
- Define customer-specific architectures for NFC-enabled mobile devices and connected ecosystems.
- Drive solutions for contactless mobile payments, public transport access control, and digital identity across smartphones, wearables, and IoT devices.
- Support technical engagements with strategic customers and ecosystem partners.
- Lead customer design-in activities spanning hardware, firmware, software, RF, and system integration.
- Provide architectural guidance and lead technical decisions, architecture reviews, and system-level problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with NFC Forum, EMVCo, GlobalPlatform, and ISO/IEC standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in system architecture, embedded systems, semiconductor products, wireless technologies, or mobile platforms.
- Background in hardware and software architectures, embedded software, firmware, short-range wireless communications, and secure transaction architectures.
- Experience with NFC technologies, mobile and wearable architectures, strategic customer engagements, and product deployments.
- Knowledge of NFC Forum, EMVCo, GlobalPlatform, ISO/IEC 14443, ISO/IEC 18092, and ISO/IEC 15693 standards and compliance.
- Experience delivering complex architectures from concept through production release, including requirements management and verification and validation processes.
- Fluent English, strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills, structured documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
