What you will do

• Process multi-state payroll in Workday, including regular cycles and off-cycle runs.
• Reconcile payroll data and monitor stock/equity transaction settlement dates to ensure timely tax deposits.
• Execute and validate tax deposits through Workday and ADP SmartCompliance.
• Support year-end activities including W-2 processing, ACA reporting, and payroll tax reconciliation.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Total Rewards on compensation changes, onboarding, and leave processing.
• Leverage AI-driven payroll tools and Workday Payroll Agents to support processing and audit workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally in a multi-state environment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll is required.
• Working knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and US federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience using AI tools to improve accuracy and process automation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight, non-negotiable deadlines with high accuracy.

Nice to have

• Experience with equity or stock-based payroll.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
