What you will do

• Configure and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs using OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Monitor network health and troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues using SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
• Maintain security policies and compliance (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR) across Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper environments.
• Perform bandwidth analysis, capacity planning, and optimize performance through redundancy and load balancing.
• Support cloud networking integrations and connectivity across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, topology maps, and technical SOPs following change management processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and QoS.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN environments.
• Must be based in Costa Rica, Brazil, or Mexico.
• English: C1 (Excellent written and verbal communication) required.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms or equivalent enterprise systems.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper firewalls.
• Familiarity with network automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience supporting AWS VPCs and Azure VNets.
