What you will do

• Define and implement manufacturing test strategies for new hardware devices as part of the NPI team.
• Collaborate with Design and Product Engineering to optimize test setups, fixtures, equipment, and software at the Pilot line and Contract Manufacturers (CM).
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production phases.
• Develop test station procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides for CM teams.
• Provide training and onsite production support to Contract Manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing and operations of electronic devices.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with PCBA board testing.
• Proven experience defining and implementing manufacturing test strategies for new products.
• Ability to review hardware designs to define test coverage and eliminate manufacturing defects.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) methodologies.
• Experience with production quality metrics and Lean manufacturing.
• Track record of releasing at least two products from concept through production.
• Experience collaborating with international CM partners.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
