What you will do

• Build and maintain technical relationships with clients in Portugal to provide business value.
• Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation of the Data Intelligence Platform.
• Develop reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to grow the Databricks community in the region.
• Engage in technical sales, guide outcomes, and communicate technical value propositions.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Portuguese.
• Business fluency in English.
• Based in the Madrid region (within commutable distance for hybrid work).
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and events.
• Prior experience coding in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on expertise with Big Data Analytics and public cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Willingness to learn and use Apache Spark.
