What you will do

• Curate variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations following ACMG guidelines using internal datasets and published literature.
• Analyze complex clinical genomics data, including NGS, Sanger sequencing, metabolomics, and chromosomal microarrays.
• Draft clinical reports summarizing findings for patients and providers.
• Collaborate with R&D to validate cutting-edge technologies and software platforms.
• Refine internal processes and present scientific findings during team meetings.

Requirements

• PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or an equivalent subject (Master's with significant experience considered).
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in clinical genomics.
• Deep knowledge of genomic variation, literature curation methodologies, and molecular mechanisms of disease.
• Technical expertise in variant detection, functional assays, and computational analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for genomic reporting.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Understanding of bioinformatics analysis and variant effect prediction algorithms.
• Experience using Python, Perl, or other programming languages to create scripts and process large datasets.
• MB(ASCP) certification.
