Resource Manager (Managed Services)

Location: Remote (Must be situated within the Continental US)

What you will do

• Maintain real-time views of resource availability, capacity, and utilization across all business units and practices.
• Build and manage a comprehensive skills inventory database capturing capabilities and certifications for technical and PM staff.
• Partner with project managers and delivery leads to forecast resource demand 4–12 weeks in advance.
• Champion an "internal first" staffing philosophy to prioritize existing employees for new project opportunities.
• Manage external staffing vendors and contingent workforce partners when internal capacity is insufficient.
• Develop utilization dashboards and reports to identify skill gap trends and inform hiring strategies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience specifically in Resource Management.
• 2 years of experience working within a Managed Services provider environment.
• Proven experience managing resources across technical (cloud, infrastructure, software), project management, and operations functions.
• Data-driven mindset with experience building utilization reports and capacity forecasts.
• Must be based in the Continental United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud technology roles (Azure, AWS, infrastructure, DevOps).
• PMI, PMP, or ITIL certification.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
