What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and data sources using advanced SQL to define analytics solutions and project scope.
• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and security frameworks (RLS).
• Integrate and manage data from cloud platforms including Snowflake, Redshift, Google Cloud SQL, and Azure SQL.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports following visual analytics and performance best practices.
• Lead project delivery, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on analytics strategy.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, deployment pipelines, and the content lifecycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Power BI, BI development, or visual analytics consulting.
• Advanced SQL skills with strong data analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Expertise in Power BI data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure SQL.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL to support the hybrid work model.
• Strong stakeholder management and data storytelling skills.
