Electrical Engineer

Location: On-site in Wilton, Connecticut, United States. Domestic and international travel of up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test electrical and electro-mechanical modules and tools.
• Identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability and verification criteria.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, technical analyses, and tradeoff evaluations.
• Define electrical concepts, specifications, high-level designs, and interface requirements.
• Coordinate system and product integration, manage dependencies, and resolve technical issues.
• Define validation and test approaches and maintain qualification evidence for release readiness.

Requirements

• Technical background in electrical, electro-mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred for higher job grades.
• Relevant experience: 2+ years for JG07, 5+ years for JG08, or 8+ years for JG09.
• Experience with electrical engineering design, analysis, troubleshooting, technical specifications, integration, verification, and validation.
• Ability to plan work, manage risks and dependencies, communicate clearly, and take ownership of technical outcomes.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before beginning work.
