Proposal Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Evaluate customer RFQ requirements and specifications to conceptualize applications.
• Develop technical proposals and offerings with documented deviations.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and integrators to quote projects and rivets.
• Perform risk assessments on bids and ensure conformity to contract terms.
• Provide technical support and product selection guidance for customer applications.
• Manage action plans and resources for large quotes to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, or proposal management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and proportions.
