What you will do
- Design medical gas pipeline systems and prepare material and equipment estimates.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Prepare accurate tenders, quotations, contract documentation, and revisions within required deadlines.
- Provide technical advice on product selection, design practices, and applicable medical gas standards such as HTM02-01.
- Produce Revit or CAD-based isometric, schematic, layout, and tender drawings.
- Resolve technical issues and maintain accurate quote, lead-time, and reporting data.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and good commercial awareness.
- Previous estimating experience and the ability to interpret layout drawings.
- Ability to analyse customer drawings and specifications and design piped medical gas systems.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit; BIM knowledge is desirable.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud applications such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote.
- Availability to work on-site in Chesterfield, United Kingdom.
