What you will do

• Own complex engineering problems and features from conception through production.
• Build AI-first product experiences, including user interfaces, capabilities, and data models.
• Work with coding agents as a core development workflow.
• Develop tooling and feedback systems that improve coding-agent effectiveness.
• Evaluate generated code and make informed decisions about production readiness.
• Shape technical direction and product development practices at staff level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping production code at a top-tier engineering organization.
• Meaningful experience shipping code at a startup or company with high engineering standards.
• Comfort working with coding agents as part of the development workflow, beyond autocomplete.
• Strong engineering judgment and ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Interest in solving novel AI problems and building products with real customer impact.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a startup or scaleup.
• Staff-level experience shaping technical direction.
