Software Engineering Intern (AI)

hirify.global develops a cloud-native video security platform using computer vision and AI for real-time alerts, video search, clip sharing, and multi-site visibility.

What you will do

• Build AI-native features including natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows using multimodal LLMs and computer vision.
• Ingest, process, and serve video and sensor data in real time with Golang and Python.
• Develop user-facing frontends with TypeScript and React in direct collaboration with product.
• Build APIs and systems connecting ML pipelines with an edge device fleet.
• Contribute to infrastructure and architecture using Kubernetes on AWS and Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
• Work on distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability while shipping code to production.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid programming fundamentals in at least one modern programming language and willingness to learn others.
• Evidence of building software through side projects, internships, open-source work, or hackathons.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology.
• Resilience in a fast-paced environment where solutions are not always known in advance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work on-site in London for the internship.
