Supervisor Software Engineer (Embedded C/C++): Leading the development and maintenance of embedded software for elevator systems with an accent on requirements engineering, software architecture, testing, and full product lifecycle ownership. Focus on coordinating cross-functional teams, solving delivery and quality challenges, and maintaining reliable software across development, manufacturing, sustainment, and end-of-life stages.
Location: Onsite in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Up to 15% national and international travel is required.

What you will do
- Lead an international, cross-functional team of requirements engineers, software developers, and software testers.
- Oversee requirements definition, implementation, testing, validation, maintenance, and field support for embedded software products.
- Plan and prioritize team tasks, assign development and support tickets, and coordinate bug resolution.
- Partner with engineering leadership, architects, project management, and business stakeholders to assess technical feasibility, risks, and product priorities.
- Maintain software architecture and development standards while supporting source-code development and continuous improvement.
- Support budgeting, KPI reporting, performance reviews, individual development plans, and career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in technical product development and at least two years of people management or project team leadership.
- Experience developing and maintaining embedded software systems using C/C++.
- Experience with embedded software processes and the full product lifecycle, including development, manufacturing or sustainment, and end-of-life.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git or Perforce, and ticketing or bug-tracking systems such as Jira or FogBugz.
- Must have legal authority to work in the United States.
