Supervisor Software Engineer (Embedded C/C++)

What you will do

• Lead an international, cross-functional team of requirements engineers, software developers, and software testers.
• Oversee requirements definition, implementation, testing, validation, maintenance, and field support for embedded software products.
• Plan and prioritize team tasks, assign development and support tickets, and coordinate bug resolution.
• Partner with engineering leadership, architects, project management, and business stakeholders to assess technical feasibility, risks, and product priorities.
• Maintain software architecture and development standards while supporting source-code development and continuous improvement.
• Support budgeting, KPI reporting, performance reviews, individual development plans, and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in technical product development and at least two years of people management or project team leadership.
• Experience developing and maintaining embedded software systems using C/C++.
• Experience with embedded software processes and the full product lifecycle, including development, manufacturing or sustainment, and end-of-life.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git or Perforce, and ticketing or bug-tracking systems such as Jira or FogBugz.
• Must have legal authority to work in the United States.
