What you will do

• Monitor projects throughout the EECBG grant lifecycle, including application, plan, post-award, and closeout stages.
• Provide desktop and on-site monitoring support for federal program teams.
• Evaluate technical submissions and recommend corrective actions or refined project requirements.
• Track recipient milestones, budgets, and technical targets against approved plans.
• Review performance and financial reports for compliance with statutes, program guidance, and award terms.
• Maintain official grant documentation in DOE systems and support closeout quality assurance.

Requirements

• At least four years of relevant experience; a master's degree may substitute for two years.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, environmental sciences, or a related discipline, unless equivalent education and experience applies.
• Experience with the federal government, preferably the Department of Energy.
• Experience with financial assistance documentation and financial tracking systems.
• Experience in technical writing, editing, document development, production, layout, and desktop publishing.
• Ability to apply modeling, measurement, mathematics, statistics, and operational research principles to evaluate systems and develop solutions.
