TL;DR

DoD Skillbridge - Systems Engineer (C2/ISR integration): Deploying and integrating mission-critical command-and-control, ISR, tactical networking, and gateway systems in Joint, Coalition, and Federal environments with an accent on field integration, interoperability, and operational mission impact. Focus on troubleshooting live classified environments, translating system constraints into operational requirements, and supporting Marine Corps mission programs and exercises.

Location: Remote within the United States. The role supports US defense programs and may require a security clearance or handling export-controlled material.

What you will do

• Develop technical integration approaches, white papers, and CONOPS based on customer mission needs.
• Lead field integration of products into MAOCs, AOCs, MOCs, ISR cells, tactical edge environments, sensor ecosystems, and CUAS systems.
• Troubleshoot interoperability and performance issues in live operational environments.
• Deliver technical briefings to operational and executive stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical point of contact during exercises, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Program Management, and Solutions Architecture while researching C2 market trends and partner opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience supporting DoD mission systems, C2, ISR, or tactical networking.
• Experience integrating tactical data links, ISR systems, or gateway architectures as an operator, analyst, JICO, or technical specialist.
• Experience with tactical and operational levels of war, including real-world or exercise scenarios.
• Experience with service-level, joint, or coalition data-link networks.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• Ability to work with classified environments and export-controlled material where required.

Nice to have

• Deep USMC operational experience with fielded USMC C2, ISR, or gateway systems.
• Hands-on Linux, virtualization, and container deployment experience.
• Working knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, and firewall rules.
• Intermediate understanding of the technology supporting operational systems.
