What you will do

• Design and build hirify.global’s AI platform, including model routing, agentic commerce, agentic protocols, and CLI capabilities.
• Define the AI product and architecture strategy and evaluate when to build internally versus partner with AI providers.
• Develop an AI-ready data foundation covering data quality, indexing, embeddings, semantic search, and context management.
• Enable Product Managers and engineering teams to identify and ship valuable AI capabilities for merchant and developer experiences.
• Evaluate foundation and open-source models, multimodal AI, agentic systems, AI infrastructure, MCP, knowledge graphs, and CLI ecosystems.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns, technical standards, and platform capabilities for product teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software or AI engineering.
• Strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience with data engineering platforms, cloud platforms, and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong interest in frontier AI technologies and research.
• Experience with several of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, vector databases, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, RAG, CLIs, MCP, agents, context engineering, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical leadership across Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Leadership.
