Software Engineer (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and scale products and platforms with adaptable, resilient, and production-ready solutions.
• Lead technical initiatives and contribute to system design and architectural discussions.
• Own software delivery from idea and development through deployment, including AWS solution design, security, and observability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape priorities, influence the roadmap, and balance feature delivery with technical investment.
• Support teammates through code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Experience applying modern software engineering practices in collaborative teams, including iterative development, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Boot and cloud-native development is preferred within the technical profile.
• Practical experience designing and building scalable, resilient, and observable cloud-based systems.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions, improve existing systems, work with legacy codebases, and automate manual workflows.
