What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned forging commodities.
• Lead RFI/RFQ activities, supplier evaluations, competitive sourcing events, and sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements while managing supplier relationships and performance.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing, benchmarking, value analysis, resourcing, and productivity improvements.
• Support new program launches, including supplier readiness, PPAP requirements, and sourcing milestones.
• Partner with engineering, quality, operations, finance, and program management to resolve supply issues and improve procurement performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply-chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CPM, APICS, or equivalent professional certification.
