What you will do

• Execute global commodity strategies and define current and future needs for specific commodity groupings.
• Source material requirements at competitive best landed cost terms in accordance with program targets.
• Manage supplier performance and negotiate compensation for non-performance to ensure no disruption of material supply.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction activities while managing initial pricing in ERP systems.
• Oversee tooling contracts, gather technical information, and manage prototype purchases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global project teams to drive standardization and strategy execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 3 years of experience in purchasing or 5 years in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate at senior levels.
• Good English language skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
• Experience working in global project teams.
