What you will do

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team developing PLC-based USV control systems.
• Guide the development of autopilot, propulsion control, and joystick control modules.
• Align technical decisions and roadmap priorities with the Product Owner and Project Manager.
• Coordinate suppliers, partners, and geographically distributed teams to integrate software and USV systems.
• Drive improvements in development processes, tools, architecture, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Ensure scalable, reusable solutions and compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and marine standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, embedded systems, or marine control systems.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with CODESYS, e!COCKPIT, and IEC 61131-3.
• Proven experience in a technical or team lead role.
• Knowledge of NMEA, CAN, Modbus, and MQTT communication protocols.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe, plus hands-on testing, commissioning, or integration experience.
