Senior DBA (MySQL)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Warsaw, Poland) — 4 days in office, 1 day WFM

What you will do

• Manage Relational and noSQL DBMS across development and mission-critical production environments.
• Configure and maintain database servers and load balancers to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
• Handle on-call incident escalations, providing end-to-end problem resolution in real time.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting and optimizing high-load MySQL databases in production.
• Proficiency with ProxySQL, Orchestrator, and the Linux operating system.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.
• Hands-on experience with IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for task automation and operational workflows.
• Location: Must be based in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Debezium, Kafka, ScyllaDB, or Aerospike.
• Knowledge of the Java application stack (Spring, Hibernate).
• Intermediate English proficiency.
