What you will do

• Build, test, release, and maintain packages for hirify.global Linux.
• Discover, evaluate, remediate, and deploy fixes for Linux security vulnerabilities.
• Enable customer migration to the latest hirify.global Linux distributions.
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions and microservices in distributed computing environments.
• Build and operate resilient, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, production support, and on-call duties.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and agile CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• Expected graduation between October 2025 and September 2026, or graduation within the previous 24 months.
• Experience with Linux, operating systems, system integration, networking, kernels, multithreading, microprocessors, or microcontrollers.
• Experience with C or C++, firmware, device drivers, ARM, bare-metal development, or kernel development.
• Experience with Linux firmware, shell scripting, scripting efficiency, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• Technical internship or demonstrated project experience.
• Experience with AI development tools, AWS or other cloud platforms, SQL or NoSQL databases, open-source projects, or version control systems.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
