What you will do

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical incidents and customer-reported issues in productive Banking environments.
• Design and develop ABAP-based corrections, enhancements, and technical improvements for Fioneer offerings.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive solutions to ensure stable operations.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand technical challenges and identify effective solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the development of engineering standards and team culture.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation while staying updated with S/4HANA innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6-7 years of experience in ABAP object-oriented development.
• Must be based in Romania.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Proven experience working with productive SAP systems and business-critical applications.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and supporting the growth of engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, SAP UI5, or Fiori.
• Experience in Application Management Services (AMS) or production support environments.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA development concepts.
