SAP and AI Developers (m/f/d) for our nearshore team in Riga (SAP/AI)

Location: Remote for freelancers based in Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltics, or the Balkans; nearshore team in Riga

What you will do

• Develop SAP solutions for a long-term project using S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, and clean-core principles.
• Build ABAP RAP applications with ABAP OO, CDS, AMDP, Fiori Elements, REST, and BAPI.
• Develop AI agents for a self-service portal from prototype through production.
• Build LLM applications using MCP, tool calling, agent orchestration, and RAG.
• Integrate AI and frontend applications with SAP S/4 and SAP BTP/CAP.
• Develop SAPUI5 and React products using CI/CD, containers, cloud-native architecture, and agile methods.

Requirements

• Senior freelancers must be based in Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltics, or the Balkans.
• English is required as the project language.
• ABAP RAP profile: 5+ years of senior ABAP development experience with ABAP OO, CDS, and AMDP.
• Senior Agentic AI profile: experience with LLM applications, MCP, tool calling, agent orchestration, RAG, and SAP integration.
• SAP UI5 and React profile: 4+ years of product development experience with SAPUI5 and React.
• Direct self-employed freelance status is required; agencies are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, TypeScript, or Python for AI and SAP integrations.
• Experience with SAFe and agile ways of working.
