What you will do

• Design and build integrations between billing systems and major ERP platforms including QuickBooks, Netsuite, Sage, Xero, and Oracle Fusion.
• Own the full integration lifecycle from vendor API navigation and architectural onboarding to production and support.
• Replace legacy code with modern microservices, ensuring strong test coverage and production-grade observability.
• Collaborate with billing teams and internal accounting stakeholders to ensure accurate line-of-credit-to-ERP flows.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude and Cursor as the primary development environment for high-efficiency coding.

Requirements

• Must be based in Latin America.
• Strong system design skills with the ability to explain architectural tradeoffs at the infrastructure level.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• AI fluency with experience using Claude, Cursor, or similar tools as a main coding interface.
• Proven track record of shipping complex systems and external-facing technical work.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, payments, fraud, or billing systems.
• Previous experience building ERP or accounting integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Datadog, or Splunk.
