What you will do

• Lead the origination of loans with new counterparties to scale the total loan book in alignment with strategic goals.
• Serve as the primary owner for secured lending relationships and act as a trusted advisor to institutional counterparties and capital allocators.
• Collaborate with the trading team to grow the secured lending allocation of backing assets for a synthetic dollar.
• Develop and implement unique secured loan structures with partners, including exchanges, custodians, brokerages, and trading firms.

Requirements

• Seasoned experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial markets risk analysis.
• Strong background in secured lending, specifically with digital assets, market makers, prime brokerage, or institutional clients.
• Deep understanding of the institutional, CeFi, and DeFi secured lending markets.
• Proven track record of negotiating lending agreement terms and closing complex deals in rapid succession.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills for evaluating collateral frameworks and communicating credit views to stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-trust, flat hierarchy utilizing asynchronous communication.
