What you will do

• Design and implement a cloud-native platform architecture on GCP.
• Build scalable guardrails for multi-team, multi-environment setups with strict compliance requirements.
• Create reusable infrastructure to enable self-service provisioning for engineering teams.
• Define cloud governance, including IAM strategies, organizational policies, and policy-as-code.
• Author technical design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership forums.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
• Production Kubernetes experience focusing on networking, security, tenancy, and lifecycle management.
• Terraform expertise at the module-authoring level.
• Solid networking fundamentals (VPC design, CIDR planning, DNS, hybrid connectivity).
• Experience working in compliance-driven environments such as SOC2 or PCI-DSS.
• Proficiency in GitOps methodology and observability stacks (metrics, structured logging, tracing).

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-a-product mindset with a focus on SLOs and developer experience.
• Experience designing cloud foundations for entire organizations rather than individual projects.
• Ability to build scalable patterns and navigate the human side of platform work to get buy-in across teams.
