Senior SRE / Cloud Engineer (AWS/GCP)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain production cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to improve observability coverage.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation.
• Develop automation for deployments, health checks, and recovery workflows using IaC.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define SLOs, SLIs, and operational readiness standards.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code and configuration management for repeatable environments.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Windows, or hybrid).
• Proficiency in building observability, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, DNS, TLS, and IAM.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes and Cloud-Native platforms.
• GitOps experience (Flux, Argo CD), Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh, Ingress, and API Gateways.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Secrets Management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
