Communications Specialist (Climate Change)

What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement external communications for climate change and agriculture projects, including adaptation and mitigation.
• Support the delivery and monitoring of communication activities across the OCB Climate Change team.
• Develop communication and outreach campaigns to improve visibility of climate finance and loss and damage initiatives.
• Establish partnerships and networks to enhance organizational communications.
• Collaborate with OCB communications focal points, external partners, and hirify.global regional or country offices.

Requirements

• Advanced University degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Equivalent of a first-level degree with 2 years of additional professional experience.
• Proven experience in developing communication and outreach campaigns.
• Ability to establish partnerships and networks for improved communications.
• Strong results focus and commitment to hirify.global values of integrity and transparency.
• Must be able to work onsite in Rome, Italy.
