Location: Hybrid in London, UK (60% office attendance required)

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end systems using the JVM ecosystem.
• Translate product requirements into maintainable, scalable code using SOLID principles.
• Develop features following TDD and BDD cycles.
• Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and mentor fellow engineers to foster continuous learning.
• Support production systems, resolve incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 8+.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to scale distributed systems effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from London, UK

Nice to have

• Experience with eCommerce or search systems.
• Exposure to reactive programming paradigms.
