What you will do

• Serve as the senior technical expert for downstream processing manufacturing campaigns in a GMP environment.
• Provide hands-on shop floor support and act as the primary escalation point for complex operational challenges.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analyses, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
• Analyze process performance data to improve plant throughput, yields, equipment reliability, and cycle times.
• Provide subject matter expertise in chromatography, resin management, TFF, UF/DF, and bulk drug substance handling.
• Collaborate with MSAT, QA, QC, and Engineering teams to support technology transfers and process validation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience supporting GMP downstream processing operations in commercial biopharmaceutical environments.
• Proven expertise in chromatography systems, purification processes, and TFF/UFDF operations.
• Strong experience with deviation investigations, CAPA management, and GMP documentation.
• Degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to use operational data to drive decision-making and manufacturing excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
