What you will do

• Act as the program management layer for the Data team during audits, interfacing with internal Risk, Security, Finance, Compliance teams and external auditors.
• Proactively maintain inventories, playbooks, and catalogs to ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Create and manage a detailed inventory of audit tests and response playbooks for data team-owned systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide guidance and coordination support during audit activities.
• Implement tagging and governance processes to identify endorsed, audit-ready datasets.
• Manage auditor data access roles to ensure access is fit for purpose.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in program/project management, audit coordination, or data governance in regulated financial services.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience with SOC, SOX, IT general controls (ITGC), or other regulatory audit frameworks.
• Proven track record of acting as a liaison between technical teams and internal/external auditors.
• Strong organizational skills for building and maintaining cross-functional documentation.
• Understanding of data access management and data cataloging practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with audit management platforms such as AuditBoard, Jira, or Workiva.
• Knowledge of automated control design and control automation.
• Experience scaling SOC or SOX control systems in hyper-growth environments.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
