Payroll Analyst (FinTech)

What you will do

• Execute the full Swedish payroll cycle, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, payments, payslips, tax reporting, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with the external provider managing other European payrolls and validate payroll reports before approval and payment.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and collaborate with the People team and other stakeholders.
• Oversee statutory filings, tax payments, social security contributions, and year-end reporting.
• Manage payroll journal entries, funding, accruals, and reconciliations with the general ledger.
• Track payroll KPIs and drive improvements in accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of operational payroll experience, including hands-on, end-to-end Swedish payroll execution.
• Experience working with third-party payroll providers and a strong understanding of Swedish payroll requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with Kontek and FlexHRM; experience with HiBob is preferred.
• A Swedish personal number is essential for Swedish BankID and execution of Swedish salary payments.
• Strong analytical and data skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration abilities.
