What you will do

• Design high-performance board-level systems for storage, network security, and custom ASIC applications.
• Manage designs with JDM partners, providing guidance and ensuring build readiness and production quality.
• Define and review schematics with a focus on high-speed signal integrity, power integrity, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with layout engineering teams to review PCB layouts.
• Work with internal board development, DVT, and SI teams to resolve board-level issues.
• Execute and report on board-level electrical tests and drive resolution of complex engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in board-level hardware design and system architecture.
• Experience with fine pitch components, micro-vias, and hardware bring-up.
• Proficiency with PCIe, Ethernet, and OCP standards.
• Knowledge of high-speed SerDes technologies (including 112G/224G).
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance and regulatory/safety standards.

Nice to have

• Strong expertise in PCIe Gen5+, DDR4/5, QSPI, and USB.
• Proficiency with schematic capture tools (Cadence OrCAD, Allegro HDL) and Allegro PCB layout tools.
• Experience with Agile PLM tools.
