Sr. Analytics Engineer-Product Insights (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid — USA, New York, NY

Base salary: $140,000–$220,000 per year for U.S. candidates, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build data systems and analytics tools powering the Falcon Console.
• Capture, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into a unified analytics platform.
• Build data pipelines that process large volumes of data.
• Deliver accurate insights that inform product and business decisions.
• Balance multiple projects, communicate trade-offs, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Use AI tools daily, share effective practices, and own outcomes from design through delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language, such as Python or Go.
• Deep SQL expertise and hands-on experience with modern data platforms, including RDBMS, NoSQL, or graph databases.
• Experience designing systems for moving and changing data at scale using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Understanding of engineering best practices, including testing, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture design.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to cross-functional audiences.
• Experience in a SaaS environment and proven use of AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI for business problems.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale semantic layers for standardized business meaning and trusted analytics and AI use cases.
• Thought leadership in analytics and data engineering.
• Experience with Snowflake, Amplitude, Tableau, or other modern analytics platforms.
• Experience thriving in fast, team-based, iterative programming environments and delivering high-quality work on time.
