Sr. Human Resources Investigator (Employee Relations)

Location: Onsite in Bastrop, TX. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements).

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end investigations of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, from intake to resolution.
• Conduct interviews, gather and analyze electronic and physical evidence.
• Draft comprehensive investigation reports and debrief HR business partners and leadership.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Train and advise HR business partners on investigation best practices.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive and private information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of professional experience conducting employee relations investigations.
• Must be based onsite in Bastrop, TX (remote or hybrid not considered).
• Must meet U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.
• Willingness to travel to various SpaceX sites and work extended hours or weekends.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Experience conducting global investigations.
• Experience working within manufacturing or engineering settings.
• Proficiency with e-discovery and pulling electronic records.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse partners including IT, Security, and Legal.
