TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (Java/Vue.js): Building and maintaining a risk management platform for monitoring and mitigating client-facing exposure with an accent on server-side reactivity and data integrity. Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office in Stamford, Connecticut, US). Relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 + 30% Bonus

What you will do

• Design and develop server-side components using Java and the Vert.x framework.
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces using Vue.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures for risk reporting.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design to deployment.
• Monitor system health and resolve production issues to ensure high uptime and accuracy.
• Refactor and tune existing systems for stability, speed, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong Java back-end focus.
• Hands-on experience with Vert.x or a similar reactive/event-driven Java framework.
• Proficiency in Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL, including query optimization and schema design.
• Must be a full-time employee; consultants and contractors will not be considered.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Perl and/or Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with risk management concepts or financial regulatory frameworks.
• Exposure to low-latency or high-availability system design.
• Experience in an Agile or iterative development environment.
